Laptop / Netbook has overtaken the desktop in sales, people now prefer laptop over desktop because of its portability, also the price of laptop is way lower than 2 years before. Their processor and ram have also increased in power to match the desktop computers.

Kubuntu 9.10

 

I recently installed kubuntu 9.10 in my desktop computer, and it was really easy to install and use. Although I had a little problem configuring my sun broadband wireless internet, but I made it work after a few tweaks which I will be posting soon. After the install, it has already document, instant messenger and web browser installed. The UI is pretty cool and its easy to use. I personally prefer kubuntu UI than ubuntu.
